University wins European data centre award
The University of Hertfordshire is recognised by the Data Centre Leaders Award for their innovative Micro-Data Centre.
Supported by the British Computer Society, the award recognises the University’s success in achieving its institution’s goals in relation to technology and engineering, and displaying high performance delivery standards while making best use of the available space. Specifically, it relates to the University’s project, part-funded by JISC, to refurbish one of its data centres, a central location where computing equipment important for business is kept and maintained.
