ViaWest expands its Oregon data centre

ViaWest, one of the largest privately-held data centre, cloud computing and managed services providers in North America, has announced the expansion of its Oregon data center facility, the Hillsboro Complex. This expansion will add 23,000 sq. ft. of usable raised floor. The additional space along with the existing facility will total over 50,000 sq. ft. of sellable space, making this SSAE 16 Type II certified facility the largest in the state of Oregon.

ViaWest’s Oregon data center expansion project is driven by significant growth in the region over the past year. Customers across all verticals and company sizes have sought additional capacity within the Hillsboro Complex, validating the requirement for further development to the fully redundant and secure facility. ViaWest designed the Hillsboro Complex with growth and expansion in mind.
