Zayo connects DFT’s NJ1 data centre to Trans-Atlantic cable landing stations

Zayo Group, an international Bandwidth Infrastructure company, has announced its fibre network will now connect DuPont Fabros Technology's NJ1 data centre located in Piscataway, New Jersey, to trans-Atlantic cable landing stations. This build provides diverse dark fibre connectivity over Zayo's network to customers between NJ1 and two trans-Atlantic cable landing stations located in Tuckerton, N.J., and Manasquan, N.J., and enabling access to three trans-Atlantic cables -TAT-14, Atlantica-1 and Apollo.

Designed to LEED Gold Standards, NJ1 brings a new class of wholesale data centre to the market by offering independent redundancy and security. Zayo's diverse connectivity in NJ1 offers customers the ability to meet their data needs during disaster recovery situations.
