New Tier IV Data Centre for Middle East Billed as the most advanced in the region, Injazat Data Systems, an Information Technology Outsourcing and Business Process Outsourcing company, has announced that it is building a Tier IV data centre in Abu Dhabi. The centre will provide access through a fully-redundant IT infrastructure with 24/7 onsite security and technical support, in addition to a range of value-added service offerings. With 2,000 sq.m of useable space, the data centre will be large enough to support up to 5000 servers and associated infrastructure. Injazat’s move to set up a Tier IV data centre is part of a larger initiative which will include the construction of the company’s new headquarters at Madinat Mohammed bin Zayed, off the new Airport road in Abu Dhabi. Only last month the company won a long term contract with The Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) provide IT-managed services and assume full responsibility for the Authority’s IT strategy and operations. Injazat is a Joint Venture between Mubadala Development Company, the Abu Dhabi’s government’s investment vehicle, and Electronic Data Systems (EDS).
