HP has announced a series of virtualization and power management enhancements to provide improved energy efficiency and cost savings. Based on the HP BladeSystem c-Class infrastructure (which includes a range of servers, storage, network, management software and power & cooling software) the HP Virtual Connect Enterprise Manager extends the virtual connect service to all blade enclosures in the Data Centre. Up to 1,600 blade servers can be controlled from a single console.
