Savvis has announced that its Chairman James Ousley, who’s been serving as interim CEO, will serve as its chief executive, and its board has ended its search for a new CEO. Ousley was named interim CEO in January when former CEO Phil Koen, 58,resignedafternearly four yearsat the technology firm’s helm.
Ousley, 64, has served as nonexecutive chairman of Savvis since May 2006 and as a director since April 2002. In 2001, he founded Vytek Wireless and was president, CEO and a director until 2004.
