Managed Services: Highlights Of 4-Month Study To Be Revealed at Data Centres Europe 2006 A presentation of the highlights of a new study by BroadGroup will be presented at the forthcoming Data Centres Europe event in London (March 21-23). Following on from the seminal study of data centres in Europe last year, the consultancy has been assessing the rise of managed services and will provide delegates at the event with the first insight into the results of the new research. The study proposes a new definition of what managed services are, and analyses market players and service offerings. The report will suggest some of the challenges currently associated with the achievement of success in delivering managed services, and the opportunity represented. “The model used is a fundamental issue for all players in managed services” comments Keith Breed, research director at BroadGroup and author of the report. “As growth continues each year a key question will be who embraces the new model, and shift users away from reliance on current infrastructure”. Following the presentation at the event, a high geared panel of industry executives will discuss the challenges and opportunities for managed services. ### Further information on Data Centres Europe 2006 can be found here. The study will be available to purchase from this site in due course. If you would like to be notified when information on the survey is posted, please email us at info@broad-group.com.
