New Data Centre Opens In Vietnam; CEO To Address Internet Data Centres Asia Event Vina Information Technology Data Services Joint Stock Company and ICT Partnership have launched a new data centre in Ho Chi Minh City. VinaData Centre, the first independent facility of its kind in Vietnam, uses the latest technologies from HP, Cisco, and Intel, and targets small and medium-sized enterprises, especially in banking, finance, ICT, and energy. The centre will also provide maintenance, technology, and solution consulting services and even remote monitoring services to meet requirements. The CEO of Vinadata, Mr Jimmy Tran Thanh Hai, will address the first regional data centre conference taking place in Singapore 27-28 September 2007. As the first commercial facility, Vinadata will discuss their Data Centre in Vietnam and the emerging business opportunities in the country. The Vietnamese government is slowly pushing for security governance, business continuity and disaster recovery.
