Aligned Data Centers has commenced construction on Project Caprock, a $5 billion hyperscale campus in Hale County, Texas. The 313-acre site will deliver 540 MW across six facilities totaling 1.65 million square feet, with initial capacity targeting Q1 2027 delivery.
The campus leverages Aligned's proprietary Delta3 cooling system, enabling rack densities from 10 kW to 150 kW within the same facility. The project is expected to create 2,000 construction jobs and 150 permanent positions.
