DigitalBridge Investment Management has closed on the acquisition of Vantage Data Centers' European platform in a transaction valued at approximately $3.2 billion. The deal encompasses 260 MW of critical IT capacity across eight campuses spanning Frankfurt, Zurich, Warsaw, and Berlin, making it one of the largest European data centre transactions of 2025.
The Vantage EMEA platform has been one of Europe's fastest-growing data centre operators, having expanded rapidly since its initial European entry in 2020. The portfolio includes a mix of operational, fully leased facilities and development-ready sites with secured power and planning permissions, offering DigitalBridge significant near-term growth potential.
DigitalBridge CEO Marc Ganzi described the acquisition as transformative for the firm's European digital infrastructure strategy. The combined DigitalBridge data centre portfolio now exceeds 1 GW of capacity globally, positioning the firm among the world's largest pure-play digital infrastructure investors. Integration of the Vantage EMEA platform is expected to be completed by Q2 2026.
